Upcoming GAL Training

There are four CASA volunteer training sessions scheduled for 2024 and the first one starts January 7. Training sessions are a combination of online and in-person, and there is no cost to the volunteer. You can learn more about the volunteer training program here.

CASA of Franklin County Volunteer Training is a 30 hour training program centered on Franklin County-specific practices and local resources. This training contains 4 modules, each with pre-recorded presentations completed at participants' own pace, followed by live or virtual sessions held on weekends.

Friends is again participating in the annual workplace giving campaign coordinated through Community Shares of Mid-Ohio – and several large central Ohio workplaces are part of the 3rd Party-Managed Campaigns. Among the workplaces are the State of Ohio, City of Columbus, Franklin County and The Ohio State University, along with Hilliard, Upper Arlington, and South-Western city school districts.

• Hilliard City Schools; dates to be provided in early November.
